Our name is a nod to the 40 Arpent Canal, one of St. Bernard’s best-known landmarks. An arpent is the old French unit used to survey the long, narrow lots that run back from the river through the parish.
Who is Arpent?
Arpent is a locally owned, veteran-owned real estate brokerage and property management company in Chalmette, founded in 2024 by Mike Fernandez. We help people buy, sell, rent, manage and invest in real estate, with St. Bernard Parish as our home market.
Our mission is to make real estate simple through expert guidance, proactive management and creative problem-solving.
Being local means showing up when it counts. After Hurricane Ida and the tornadoes that hit St. Bernard, our team helped neighbors clean up and start rebuilding.
